When I stepped into the role of Managing Director at Cooper Parry Wealth (CPW) in July, I knew we were on the cusp of something big. Today, I’m excited to share what’s next: ambitious plans to scale across the UK, starting with a major push into Manchester and the North West.
Right now, we manage over £1.7bn of assets for 900 families. Our goal? To grow that figure to £6bn over the next three years, delivering £50m in revenue. It’s a bold target, but one we’re ready for. How will we get there? Through strategic acquisitions, key hires, digital investment, and deeper integration with Cooper Parry’s wider business – particularly across our eight hubs in the East and West Midlands; Aberdeen and Edinburgh; Dungannon Northern Ireland; Manchester; Reading and London.
We’ve already started making moves in the North West. I’m pleased to welcome Hannah Davies as our new Director of Growth, alongside Paul Clifford (Relationship Manager) and Anna McKenzie (Paraplanner Team Leader). These hires are just the beginning. We’re also in advanced conversations around acquisitions that will accelerate our presence in the region.
It’s an exciting time. We’re not re-platforming or relocating the business – we’re scaling out across the Cooper Parry group’s hubs. We’re talking to potential partners and talent who share our vision and energy. This is a truly exciting time to be part of this great business.
But let me be clear: this isn’t just about numbers. Our client-first approach remains at the heart of everything we do. Each Relationship Manager supports just 50–70 clients, compared to an industry average of 269. That means we deliver the attention and care our clients deserve. We work closely with business owners, founders and senior execs navigating life’s big moments: selling businesses, retiring, divorcing or coming into wealth.
As we grow, so does our ability to support clients with deeper expertise, broader services and smarter tech. Scale gives us the ability to invest in technology and talent – and that means more value for our clients, both new and existing.
With a team of 80+ already in place, we expect to grow to nearly 300 people within three years. The message is clear: Cooper Parry Wealth is on the move and Manchester is just the beginning.
