The best time to invest?

The best time to invest?

There’s a lot going on in the world just now. Hurricanes, Trump, North Korea, Brexit, refugee crisis… they all seem like huge events. But just because an event is current, doesn’t necessarily make it ‘big’ in the long run.

The way that the media like to portray the news by concentrating on the negatives can make investors feel uneasy, making them question their longer term investment discipline.

Part of our role is to coach our clients through these times and remind them that short term news events generally have little impact on longer term market growth. Take a look at this short video made by one of our peers in the US, Loring Ward, to see what we mean.
